Lighting is one of the most important aspects of home design and renovation, it is functional, it creates mood and feelings, it creates style and additional value.
When we create light fixtures, we always think about the space first and a particular function the light will have. Is it a living room or a kitchen? Is it a task lighting or mood lighting? Each application has its own set of rules: for mood and architectural lighting we use warmer and dimmable lights to create a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Task lighting is usually much brighter and cooler to help better perceive the task at hands.
Whenever possible, we use local and reclaimed materials. It's not only good for the environment but also creates a unique and valuable Hudson Valley Style light fixtures.
